USFA (United States Fencing Association) has released updated guidelines for face masks to be worn at tournaments. The face coverings must be:

two-layer cloth masks, or
-
surgical face coverings.
Any single-layer cloth masks or coverings will not be accepted. Any face covering that does not make direct contact with the fencer’s face (such as our magnetic masks) will not be accepted either.
We at Sabre Pasadena will continue to accept the magnetically attached dual-layer masks we have been using, this only applies to those who wish to compete.
